Bring Nature Home

Why Essence of Nature?

Founded by Vivechana Makhija, Essence of Nature was born from her deep love for nature and plants, and a simple desire to make bringing greenery home easier and more meaningful.

Traditionally, bringing a plant home can mean visiting a nursery, choosing the right plant, getting it repotted and spending time there even in hot and humid conditions. We wanted to offer a simpler solution: choose your plant, place the pot in your home, and let nature become part of your everyday space. Many of our plants are also selected for their easy-care, low-maintenance nature, making it simpler to enjoy greenery even with a busy lifestyle. We can also customise the plant, planter and presentation according to your preferences.

In a time when air quality is becoming an increasing concern, bringing greenery indoors is more meaningful than ever. Plants naturally absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, while certain indoor plants may also help reduce some indoor air pollutants. We believe that bringing a little nature indoors can make our living spaces feel fresher, greener and more connected to the natural world.

We believe gifting is a daily part of our lives — so why not gift something living? A plant is a thoughtful gift to give and a beautiful one to nurture, grow and enjoy over time.
